Lectures on the Dynamics and Thermodynamics of Tropical Cyclones

These lectures were part of a course on tropical meteorology given at the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich in summer semester 2013 and formed the background for a series of lectures at the National Taiwan University in August 2013, at Monash University, Australia in October 2013, and at the Vietnam National University in September 2014.
