2016-09-27 RF05 IOP 5 - specMACS / NAWDEX - VNIR O2A absorption roll corrected quicklooks

THIS QUICKLOOK IS CURRENTLY EXPERIMENTAL! These quicklooks are generated using the O2A absorption ratio as defined in the master thesis of Ulrich Schwarz (MIM, LMU Munich). It is defined as the ratio between radiance inside the O2A and the radiance outside of it. Higher values (yellow colors) indicate less absorption and thus shorter distance, lower values (blue to violet) indicate more absorption and thus longer distance. Of course lower flight altitudes will also show more absorption even at shorter distances. Note that due to the scanning nature of the sensor, the across-track axis is angular resolved while the along-track axis (time-axis) is linear along the flight track. Therefore the perspective looks a bit different than the perspective of an ordinary camera. The wiggley shape of the image border is due to the aircraft is rolling. This movement has been corrected in this view.
