This intercomparison is part of the **SWIR Carbon Observation Retrieval
Model Intercomparison Project (SCORE-MIP)**. The objectives of SCOREMIP
are to intercompare radiative transfer codes and retrieval methods used
for **GOSAT SWIR spectra** and to identify and characterize differences
and provide guidance for retrieval algorithm improvements.
The first task of the project is the
[[intercomparisons:scoremip|radiative transfer intercomparison]], in
particular the intercomparison of vector radiative transfer codes.
